Unity of the Bible in regards to ProphecyBible Prophecy is not merely a series of unrelated predictions randomly scattered throughout the Bible.

It has a structure; it is set on a firm foundation. To understand the foundation, we must realize the overall picture of the Bible, its themes and the threads. The Book of Revelations refers to 550 Prophecies and Illustrations in the Old Testament. The whole Bible Speaks as one and when properly understood, the Bible speaks with a clear, consistent and reliable message that is just as appropriate for us as it was for the people of ancient Israel.

2Pe 1:19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:That’s why…..”The early Christians made it a part of their religion to look for his return. They looked backward to the cross and the atonement for sin, and rejoiced in Christ crucified. They looked upward to Christ at the right hand of God, and rejoiced in Christ interceding. They looked forward to the promised return of their Master, and rejoiced in the thought that they would see him again. And we ought to do the same” ― J.C. Ryle, Practical Religion

“Nothing has more disarmed the Church of the necessity for preparation, discipleship, and maturity that can stand in the Last Days and overcome tribulation, than the misguided confidence that they will not have to face it!” (Art Katz)

“That is, no prophecy is to be interpreted by itself, but in harmony with the whole body of prediction on any given subject.” Amen … to do so would open so many eyes in a dark world and give us hope that God is in charge and working out all things according to His divine plan.
